We had a delicious family meal here last night. Everyone loved their food - wings, hot turkey sandwiches, deep fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, clubhouse platter and fish/chips. My fish was very tasty and fresh. Tartar sauce seemed to be homemade and was also delicious. The gravy was nice and light but very flavorful. Our server, Karen, was the sweetest woman ever! Overall, this is a classic pub food location right in the heart of Sydney. Very close to C200. Would make a great place to stop and eat before an Eagles game.
Super fun! and good food as well. The bartender is so helpful and understands us that we are just havin fun time.
Wife n I enjoyed a couple of steaks preceded by tomato basil soup n fried pepperoni. All was delicious. Mashed potatoes were light n tasty. Fried onions done perfectly. Been awhile since we’ve been here. Great to be back! Service was prompt n our server was very friendly. She knew her stuff. Go n enjoy!
This place is spot on. The beer is always ice cold and crisp. They evidently look after their taps. Food is exactly what you think it is and it’s the same every time. Regular pub food. Good club sandwich, fish and chips, steak, burger, etc. Service is fast and professional. Very nice people. You know what to expect when you go to Steel city. It is above and beyond my favourite place in Sydney.
Who knew they served breakfast here? Healthy portions and delicious. Would definitely consider eating breakfast here again. Ok for the record there is extra bacon in the picture I posted.
What a great find! If you want great food and incredibly attentive and awesome service then come to this place. We are from Edmonton and wanted a place to watch the hockey game. What a great experience. Highly welcome. Such a great find!!!
Great spot to get an always great meal with consistency The regulars are a good bunch and the chicken wings are yummy. The Lemon salt and pepper wings are really nice and with a hot sauce on the side, they're delicious Parking can sometimes be an issue when the special, like corned beef and cabbage, might require Parking on a side street but the food and cold beer is worth it In the summer, the patio is really nice too.
Always reasonable prices and delicious food. Don't sleep on the Greek plate on I believe it's Thursdays. Amazing.
